Academic Program

TELECOM Lille1 is a French "Grande Ecole". As such, TELECOM Lille1 awards a single qualification : the Diplôme d’ingenieur degree. TELECOM Lille1 awards no other degrees.

TELECOM Lille1 is a state operated engineering school proposing a five-year programme in telecommunication and computer network engineering. The courses all benefit from the European Credit Transfer System, enabling wide international recognition for exchange students wishing to transfer credits.

The program is offered to students who have successfully completed a secondary school degree programme recognized by the French national board of education and are proficient in the use of the French language.

 

Options for study at TELECOM-Lille1

Student can either come to TELECOM Lille1 as a degree seeking student in order to prepare the national French "Diplôme d’ingenieur" engineering degree , or as an exchange student. 

At TELECOM Lille1, the 4th and 5th years of study correspond to the level recognized in French university as “Master’s level”. However, French Grande Ecole engineering schools do not award any Master’s degree. Students interested in pursuing a Master’s degee should contact the appropriate university of their choice..
